Pilz PILZ-632223 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 1050mm. This robust type emitter part features a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver, falling under the PSEN opII3H sub-range. With dimensions including a net height of 1054mm, width of 35mm, and depth of 40mm, it is constructed from an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring durability. The device operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and has a maximum cable length of 50m. It offers a sensing distance from 0.2m to 18m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is maximized at 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, a response time ranging from 9.1ms with beam coding to 22.3ms, and is designed with a resolution of 30mm for hand protection. The device is IP65 rated, indicating protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction, and can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
