Pilz PILZ-632111 is a safety light curtain designed for body protection, capable of detecting opaque objects with a minimum size of 300mm. It features an emitter and receiver pair with a robust design, housed in aluminium with zinc end caps and a PC front screen. This unit operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 750mm. It utilizes a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver, ensuring a secure connection. The PILZ-632111 operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc, and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It is designed to work within a sensing distance of 10m to 55m and emits infrared LED light at a wavelength of 850 nm. The device is IP65 rated, indicating protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction. It also features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, with a response time of 5.2ms with beam coding and 11.7ms otherwise. The PILZ-632111 is suitable for applications requiring a maximum cable length of 50m and can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
