Pilz PILZ-632088 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 14mm. This emitter and receiver pair falls under the PSEN opII4F sub-range and is characterized by a robust design with a net height of 1504 mm and a protective height of 1500 mm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60 °C for operation and -25 to +70 °C for storage. The device features a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver, ensuring a secure connection. With an IP65 degree of protection, it is well-suited for challenging environments. The safety light curtain is powered by a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5 W for the emitter and 2.5 W for the receiver without load. It is constructed from an aluminium housing, zinc end cap, and PC front screen, measuring 35 mm in width and 40 mm in depth. The sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 8m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. It also features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 17.4ms with beam coding and 91.4ms. The maximum cable length supported is 50m.
