Pilz PILZ-632062 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. This emitter and receiver pair is housed in a robust aluminium casing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring durability. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 600mm. The device connects via 5-pin M12 connectors for both the emitter and receiver, supporting a maximum cable length of 50m. With an IP65 degree of protection, it is suitable for various industrial environments. The PILZ-632062 operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and has a power consumption of up to 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It features a sensing distance from 0.2m to 18m and utilizes infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. The device includes two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time ranging from 7.2ms with beam coding to 15.2ms. Its dimensions are 604mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth, making it a compact solution for safety applications.
