Pilz PILZ-632061 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting 30mm opaque objects. It features an emitter and receiver pair with a robust design, suitable for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from -10 to +60 °C. This unit is part of the PSEN opII4H sub-range and offers a protective height of 150mm. It is equipped with 5-pin M12 connectors for both the emitter and receiver, ensuring a secure connection. The degree of protection is rated at IP65, indicating a dust-tight and water-resistant construction. The PILZ-632061 operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc. Its construction includes an aluminium housing, zinc end caps, and a PC front screen. The maximum cable length is 50m, and it has a net width of 35mm and a depth of 40mm. The sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 18m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is max 1.5 W for the emitter and max 2.5 W for the receiver without load. It features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 5.2ms with beam coding and 11.7ms without. The resolution of the light curtain is 30mm, specifically designed for hand protection, and it can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70 °C.
