Pilz PILZ-632030 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. This emitter and receiver pair falls under the PSEN opII3H sub-range and features a robust design with an aluminium housing, zinc end caps, and a PC front screen. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C for operation and -25 to +70°C for storage. The device offers a protective height of 1800mm and a net height of 1804mm, with dimensions including a net width of 35mm and a net depth of 40mm. It supports a sensing distance from 0.2m to 18m and utilizes infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. The safety light curtain has a supply voltage requirement of 18-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and features a power consumption of maximum 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. Connection is facilitated through 5-pin M12 connectors for both emitter and receiver, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP65. It also includes two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, with response times of 12.3ms with beam coding and 22.3ms. The maximum cable length supported is 50m.
