Pilz PILZ-632029 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting 30mm opaque objects across a sensing distance of 0.2m to 18m. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60 °C for operation and -25 to +70 °C for storage. This model, part of the PSEN opII3H sub-range, features a robust design with an aluminium housing, zinc end cap, and a PC front screen. It has a net height of 1354 mm, a width of 35 mm, and a depth of 40 mm, offering a protective height of 1350mm. The light curtain uses infrared LED (IR) with a wavelength of 850 nm and has a power consumption of a maximum of 1.5 W for the emitter and 2.5 W for the receiver without load. It includes a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver, supports a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nom.), and is IP65 rated for protection against dust and water. The device also features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 10.4ms / 0.0104 s with beam coding and 22.3ms / 0.0223 s.
