Pilz PILZ-632024 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 900mm. This robust type emitter and receiver pair features a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver, falling under the PSEN opII3H sub-range. The device is encased in an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP65. It is designed to operate at a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc. The maximum cable length is 50m, and it has a net width of 35mm and a depth of 40mm. The sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 18m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is max 1.5 W for the emitter and max 2.5 W for the receiver without load. It features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 8.4ms with beam coding and 15.2ms otherwise. The device can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
