Pilz PILZ-632023 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting 30mm opaque objects with an emitter and receiver pair. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and has a net height of 754 mm. This robust type light curtain falls under the PSEN opII3H sub-range and offers a protective height of 750mm. It features a degree of protection of IP65 and requires a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The housing is made of aluminium, with zinc end caps and a PC front screen. It supports a maximum cable length of 50m and has a net width of 35 mm. The sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 18m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is max 1.5 W for the emitter and max 2.5 W for the receiver without load. The net depth is 40 mm. It can operate in storage temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C and includes 2 x digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs. The response time is 7.8ms with beam coding and 15.2ms otherwise, with a resolution of 30mm for hand protection. Connection is facilitated through 5-pin M12 connectors for both the emitter and receiver.
