Pilz PILZ-632022 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting 30mm opaque objects across an operating range of 0.2m to 18m. This emitter and receiver pair, part of the PSEN opII3H sub-range, features a robust design with a net height of 604 mm and a protective height of 600mm. It is equipped with 5-pin M12 connectors for both the emitter and receiver, ensuring a secure connection. The device operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60 °C for operation and -25 to +70 °C for storage. With an IP65 degree of protection, it is well-suited for challenging environments. The safety light curtain is housed in aluminium with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, measuring 35 mm in width and 40 mm in depth. It utilizes infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5 W for the emitter and 2.5 W for the receiver without load. The supply voltage requirement is 18-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. Additionally, it features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and offers response times of 7.2ms with beam coding and 15.2ms.
