Pilz PILZ-631155 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 14mm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and offers a protective height of 900mm. This model features a slim design without a dead zone, thanks to its cascading option, and includes an emitter and receiver pair. It connects via 5-pin M12 connectors for both the emitter and receiver. The PILZ-631155 falls under the Slim sub-range, with a net width of 15.4mm and a depth of 32.6mm. It is designed with an aluminium housing, die-cast zinc alloy end caps, and a PMMA front screen, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP65. The device operates on a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc, and has a maximum cable length of 20m. Its sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 6m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. The power consumption is max 1.6W for the emitter and max 4.2W for the receiver. It features 90 beams with a 14mm beam gap, two digital outputs (500mA) for the receiver, and response times of 14ms in cascading mode and 20ms otherwise. The device is also designed to withstand storage temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
