Pilz PILZ-631125 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, featuring a slim design with a cascading option that eliminates dead zones. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and offers a protective height of 1050mm. This model comes equipped with a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver, falling under the Slim sub-range category. The device is housed in aluminium with die-cast zinc alloy end caps and a PMMA front screen, ensuring durability. It has a net width of 15.4mm and a depth of 32.6mm, with a maximum cable length of 20m. The sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 6m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is maxed at 1.6W for the emitter and 4.2W for the receiver. It features 56 beams with a 24mm beam gap, providing a resolution suitable for detecting opaque objects as small as 24mm. The device offers two digital outputs (500mA) from the receiver (OSSD outputs) and has a response time of 12ms in cascading mode and 20ms otherwise. It is rated with an IP65 degree of protection and requires a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The ambient air temperature for storage is specified from -25 to +70°C.
