Pilz PILZ-631100 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection with a resolution of 24mm, capable of detecting opaque objects. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and offers a protective height of 450mm. This model features a slim design without a dead zone, thanks to its cascading option, and includes an emitter and receiver pair. The connection is facilitated through 5-pin M12 connectors for both the emitter and receiver. Classified under the Slim sub-range, it has dimensions of 450mm in height, 15.4mm in width, and 32.6mm in depth, with a maximum cable length of 20m. The PILZ-631100 is designed with an aluminium housing, die-cast zinc alloy end caps, and a PMMA front screen, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP65. It operates on a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and features a sensing distance from 0.2m to 6m. The light curtain uses infrared LED (IR) light with a wavelength of 850 nm, and the power consumption is max 1.6 W for the emitter and max 4.2 W for the receiver. It includes 24 beams with a 24mm beam gap, two digital outputs (300mA) for the receiver (OSSD outputs), and has a response time of 9ms for cascading and 20ms.
