Pilz PILZ-631049 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, featuring a muting/blanking/cascading option with no dead zone. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and has a net height of 1806.3 mm. This part of the Advanced sub-range comes with a design that includes an emitter and receiver pair, capable of detecting 30mm opaque objects. It has a rated current of 20mA-300mA for external lamps and offers connection types including a 5-pin M12 connector for the emitter and 12-pin and 5-pin M12 connectors for the receiver in the muting model. The device is protected by an IP65-rated vanished Aluminium housing with a PBT terminal cap, PMMA front screen, and a PC cover, all in a yellow color. It supports a maximum cable length of 50m, with a net width of 35 mm and a net depth of 40.8 mm. The sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 20m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 950 nm. Power consumption is max 3 W for the emitter and max 5 W for the receiver without load. It features 96 beams with a 30mm beam gap, two digital outputs (PNP; 500mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, and a response time of 22ms, with a reset time of 100ms when SYNC interrupt and 2 s. The supply voltage required is 19.2-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The device is also designed for storage in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
