PILZ-631044 Pilz Safety Light Curtains

Pilz PILZ-631044 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection with a resolution of 30mm, capable of detecting opaque objects. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and has a net height of 1056.3 mm. This part features a design that includes muting, blanking, and cascading options with no dead zone, comprising an emitter and receiver pair. It supports a rated current of 20mA-300mA for an external lamp and offers connection via a 5-pin M12 connector for the emitter and 12-pin and 5-pin M12 connectors for the receiver in the muting model. Classified under the Advanced sub-range, it has a protective height of 1050mm and is IP65 rated for protection. The supply voltage requirement is 19.2-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. Constructed with a vanished Aluminium housing, PBT terminal cap, PMMA front screen, and PC cover, it features a yellow housing color. The maximum cable length is 50m, with net dimensions of 35 mm in width and 40.8 mm in depth. Its sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 20m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 950 nm. Power consumption is max 3 W for the emitter and max 5 W for the receiver without load. It includes 56 beams with a 30mm beam gap, two digital outputs (PNP; 500mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, and has a response time of 18ms / 0.018 s, with a reset time of 100ms / 0.1 s when SYNC is interrupted and 2 s. The ambient air temperature for storage is -25 to +70°C.
