PILZ-631041 Pilz Safety Light Curtains

Pilz PILZ-631041 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection with a resolution of 30mm, capable of detecting opaque objects. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and has a net height of 606.3 mm. This model features a design that includes muting, blanking, and cascading options with no dead zone, comprising an emitter and receiver pair. It supports a rated current of 20mA-300mA for an external lamp and offers connection via a 5-pin M12 connector for the emitter and 12-pin and 5-pin M12 connectors for the receiver in the muting model. As part of the Advanced sub-range, it has a protective height of 600mm and is rated IP65 for protection. The supply voltage requirement is 19.2-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The housing is made of vanished Aluminium, with a PBT terminal cap, PMMA front screen, and PC cover, presented in a yellow color. It allows for a maximum cable length of 50m and has a net width of 35 mm. The sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 20m, utilizing infrared LED light with a power consumption of max 3 W for the emitter and max 5 W for the receiver without load. It features 32 beams with a 30mm beam gap, a net depth of 40.8 mm, and operates at a wavelength of 950 nm. The ambient air temperature for storage is rated at -25 to +70°C. It includes 2 x digital outputs (PNP; 500mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, with a response time of 15ms / 0.015 s, 100ms / 0.1 s when SYNC interrupt, and 2 s.
