Pilz PILZ-630745 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 14mm across an operating range of 0.2m to 6m. This emitter and receiver pair features a net height of 833.2 mm and is part of the Basic sub-range. It operates with a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nom.) and has a protective height of 750mm. The device is equipped with a 4-pin M12 connector for the emitter and an 8-pin M12 connector for the receiver. The housing is made of painted aluminium with a PC cap and a PMMA front screen, colored yellow. It supports a maximum cable length of 50m and has a net width of 32.3 mm and a net depth of 36.9 mm. The safety light curtain features an infrared LED light source with a wavelength of 950 nm, a power consumption of max 2.5 W for the emitter and max 3.5 W for the receiver without load, and includes 2 x digital outputs (PNP; 500mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs. It offers a degree of protection of IP65, making it suitable for various industrial environments. The device's response time is 25ms / 0.025 s, and it is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of 0...+55 °C and can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25...+70 °C.
