Product description
Pilz PILZ-328311 is an I/O unit designed for backplane or rackmount installation, featuring digital I/O electronic module capabilities. It supports a range of permitted loads including inductive, capacitive, and resistive, with potential isolation between input and module supply as well as between periphery and module supply, both offering functional insulation and a rated surge voltage of 2500V. The unit operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and has a net height of 110.8 mm, a width of 12.5 mm, and a depth of 72.5 mm. It is designed with a device code of 000Dh, including 4 ST input bits plus 2 ST status bits, and utilizes plug-in/detachable cage-clamp terminal connections. Classified under the Standard I/O module sub-range, it offers an IP20 degree of protection and requires a supply voltage of 16.8-30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The housing is made of PPE material. Power consumption details include a maximum of 0.16 W for module supply, 0.11 W for an input, 0.15 W with no load, and 0.13 W for voltage output. It can be stored in temperatures ranging from -40 to +70°C. The unit features 2 digital outputs and 4 digital inputs, with outputs supporting 24Vdc at 0.25A and inputs accepting 24Vdc at 3-3.5mA. It includes short-circuit proof potential isolation protection and has a maximum power dissipation/loss of 1 W. Processing times range from 0.005 to 0.3 ms for input signals, with a software filter time of 0 to 25.5 ms.
