Pilz PILZ-328310 is an I/O unit designed for backplane or rackmount installation, featuring a digital output electronic module. It supports a maximum rated current of 2A with one output under load and 1.5A with two outputs under load, within a permitted output current range of 0-0.625A. The unit offers potential isolation between semiconductor output and module supply with functional insulation, rated for a surge voltage of 2500V. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and has a net height of 110.8 mm. The design includes device code 001Ah with 4 ST output bits plus 4 ST status bits. Connection is facilitated through plug-in/detachable cage-clamp terminal connections. As a standard I/O module, it features an IP20 degree of protection and requires a supply voltage of 16.8-30Vdc (24Vdc nominal). The housing is made of PPE material, with a net width of 12.5 mm and a net depth of 72.5 mm. It can store within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. The unit includes 4 x digital outputs (1-pole positive switching semiconductor outputs; 24Vdc; 0.5A), ensuring short-circuit proof operation and potential isolation. Power dissipation/losses are capped at a maximum of 0.9 W, with processing times for output signals ranging from a maximum of 0.35 ms for "1" to "0" signal and 0.22 ms for "0" to "1". The internal voltage drop is noted at 0.06 V.
