Pilz PILZ-328092 is a Safety I/O unit designed for backplane or rackmount installation. It features a digital output electronic safety module with permitted load types including inductive, capacitive, and resistive. The unit provides potential isolation between the semiconductor output and module supply, as well as between the periphery supply and module supply, both with functional insulation and a rated surge voltage of 2500V. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and has a net height of 110.8 mm. The design includes device code 4044h with 8 ST output bits plus 8 ST status bits. The rated current ranges from 0 to 0.625A for permitted output current, with a residual current of 0.02mA at a "0" signal and a maximum transient pulsed output current of 12A. Connection is facilitated through plug-in/detachable cage-clamp terminal connections. This Safe I/O module, with a degree of protection IP20, requires a supply voltage of 16.8-30Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and is housed in PPE material. The net width is 12.5 mm, and the net depth is 72.5 mm. It can be stored in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +70°C. The module features 8 digital outputs (1-pole positive-switching semiconductor outputs; 24Vdc; 0.5A), includes short-circuit proof potential isolation, and has a current consumption of 55mA with no load. Power consumption is 0.65W for module supply, 1.65W for periphery supply module power consumption with no load, and 0.05W for semiconductor output. Power dissipation/losses can reach up to 2.7W. The processing time ranges from 0.1-12.7 ms for the maximum duration ON/OFF time during self-test, with an output processing time of max. 8 ms for "1" to "0" and "0" to "1" signal changes. The internal voltage drop is 0.08 V.

UBC10.241 on Powermatic Associates

UBC10.241

PULS UBC10.241 is an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) control module within the U-series, featuring a built-in battery with a 50% power reserve and a green status LED. This module is housed in aluminium and utilizes spring-clamp connections for installation. It measures W123mm x H124mm x D119mm and operates on a supply voltage range of 22.5Vdc to 30Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc. The rated current is 10A at 22.5Vdc and can reach up to 15A in buffer mode for less than 5 seconds at full output voltage. It supports DIN rail mounting and can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from 0 to +40°C. The current consumption is 1.1A at a 24Vdc input, and it is designed for DC networks. Visual position indicators include Ready, Buffering, Inhibit, and Replace Battery. Protection functions include output overvoltage protection with a typical 32Vdc and a maximum of 35Vdc, and overload/short-circuit protection with a minimum of 17.9A and a maximum of 21A at load impedance. It is advised not to use the DC-UPS in parallel to increase output power, but paralleling two units for 1+1 redundancy is possible for higher system reliability. The output voltage is regulated at 22.5Vdc in buffer mode with a 23Vdc turn-ON. The efficiency is rated at 0.978 with a 24Vdc input, and the rated power is 360W at 24Vdc and 240W/360W in buffer mode. Power dissipation/losses are 2.9W with a 24Vdc input at 0A output current and 5.5W at 10A output current. Ripple is maintained at 20mVpp across a frequency range of 20Hz to 20MHz at 50Ω. The electrical durability is rated at 137400 hours at 40°C with a 10A output and 24Vdc input, equivalent to 15 years or 131400 hours at both 40°C with a 5A output and 25°C with a 10A output.
