About the product

Anybus by HMS Networks AB7671-F is a gateway within the X-gateway series designed for protocol translation. It functions as an EtherNet/IP scanner and PROFIBUS slave. This part allows for I/O configuration via a USB port using the Anybus Configuration Manager software and requires installation in a vertical or flat position with galvanic isolation on both the BUS and Ethernet sides. It features 8 IP configuration switches, 2 node address switches (x10 / x1), and 10 LED indicators for fieldbus, sub-network, and device status monitoring. The AB7671-F operates on a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and has dimensions of H127mm x W44mm x D114mm. Its housing is made from aluminium and plastic, ensuring compatibility with its designated environment. Connection options include 1 x RJ45 LAN connector for 10/100Mbit/s Ethernet/IP (supporting both full and half duplex), 1 x 9-pin D-sub female connector for PROFIBUS, 1 x 2-poles 5.08mm plug-in screw connector for power (X3), and 1 x USB connector (X4). The device is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25...+65 °C, with a current consumption of 400mA (max) and 200mA (typical) at 24Vdc.
