Ixxat by HMS Networks 1.01.0210.11220 is a CAN/CAN FD repeater designed to facilitate communication within automation systems. It features two duo LEDs for transmitting and indicating defective segments, and one LED for power status. The device employs a Microchip MCP2562FD CAN/CAN FD transceiver and includes a 120Ω CAN bus termination resistor, with variants available both with and without integrated bus termination. The CAN bus interface complies with ISO 11898-2 and includes a CAN choke, while the CAN FD bus interface supports both ISO CAN FD and non-ISO CAN FD, with arbitration rates up to 1000kBit/s and data rates up to 8000kbit/s. The repeater's delay is typically 300ns, equivalent to a 60m bus length, excluding the signal delay time of the fiber optics which is 5ns/m. It features a Broadcom HFBR 1404Z 820nm FO transmitter and a Broadcom HFBR 2402Z 820nm FO receiver, with a multi-mode fiber optic line compatible with 50/125µm, 62.5/125µm, and 100/140µm diameters. The maximum line length between two FO repeaters is 1500m for 50/125µm and 2000m for 62.5/125µm. The device offers galvanic isolation of 1kVdc/s or 500Vac/min between CAN 1/CAN 2 and the power supply, which operates on a 9-36Vdc supply voltage. It includes an SMA-F female connector for fiber optics, two 4-poles plug-in screw connectors for CAN and power, and features eight LED indicators. The repeater is designed for DIN rail mounting in a plastic housing, with dimensions of H105mm x W22.5mm x D120mm, and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C for operation and -40 to +85°C for storage.
