About the product

Banner Engineering SLPMP25-550P128 is a safety light curtain from the LP Low-Profile series designed with an integrated muting function. This product features an emitter and receiver pair housed in aluminum with acrylic lens and die-cast zinc end caps. It is pre-wired with a 300mm pigtail, terminating in an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for the emitter and a 12-pin Euro-style M12 connector for the receiver. The safety light curtain offers a protective height of 550mm and comes in a yellow housing. It operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. With an IP65 degree of protection, the unit has dimensions of 28mm in width, 549mm in height, and 26mm in depth. The device features a 25mm beam spacing/pitch for hand detection, a sensing distance ranging from 10cm to 7m, and includes 2 x digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs), 1 x digital output (24Vdc; 250mA; PNP transistor) for OSSD/FAULT, and 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) for the mute lamp. Additionally, it has 1 x digital input (10-30Vdc) for EDM input and 1 x digital input (10-30Vdc) for RESET input, with a response time of 11ms / 0.011 s.
