Banner Engineering SLPCE14-690P8 is a safety light curtain from the LP Low-Profile series designed for finger detection with a resolution of 14mm. This cascadable unit features an aluminium housing, acrylic lens, and zinc end caps, ensuring durability. It is pre-wired with a 300mm pigtail that terminates with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation. The protective height of the device is 690mm, and it operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage. Suitable for use in environments with ambient air temperatures ranging from 0 to +55°C, it offers a degree of protection rated at IP65. The SLPCE14-690P8 has a net width of 28mm, a height of 689mm, and a depth of 26mm. It is equipped with two digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs) and one digital output (24Vdc; 250mA; PNP transistor) for fault indication, alongside one digital input (10Vdc-30Vdc) for reset functions. The sensing distance spans from 10cm to 7m, and it utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 850 nm. The response time is 19.5ms, and the housing is colored yellow for visibility.
