SLM30B6 Description
Banner Engineering SLM30B6 is a photo-electric rugged metal slot/optical fork sensor from the SLM series, featuring a potentiometer adjustment design. It is constructed with a nickel-plated die-cast Zinc housing and an Acrylic lens. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc / 24Vdc, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C. The SLM30B6 offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for various environments. Its slot (U-shaped) shape has a passageway width of 30mm and an overall width of 62mm, with a height of 80mm and a depth of 12mm. This sensor features 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), a sensing distance of 30mm, and a rapid response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
