SLM180P6Q Description
Banner Engineering SLM180P6Q is a photo-electric rugged metal slot/optical fork sensor within the SLM series, featuring a potentiometer adjustment design. It is constructed with a nickel-plated die-cast Zinc housing and an Acrylic lens. This sensor is pre-equipped with a 3-pin Pico-style M8 connector for connectivity. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The SLM180P6Q can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6. Its slot (U-shaped) shape has a passageway width of 180mm and a height of 140mm, with a net depth of 12mm. The sensor provides 1 x digital output (PNP transistor), has a sensing distance of 180mm, and a response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
