S18SP6L Description

Banner Engineering S18SP6L is a photo-electric sensor from the S18 DC series designed in a retro-reflective mode. It features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. This sensor operates within a supply voltage range of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can function in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +70°C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. The S18SP6L has a cylindrical threaded/barrel shape with an M18 thread size, and it includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC). It boasts a sensing distance of 2m and utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 950 nm. The sensor's response time is 3ms / 0.003 s, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
