Banner Engineering S18SN6DMSC W/15 is a photo-electric sensor from the S18 DC series, designed in a diffuse mode with a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. This sensor is pre-wired with a 15ft / 4.5m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, ensuring easy installation. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and is rated with a degree of protection of IP67, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, making it suitable for harsh environmental conditions. It features a cylindrical M18 threaded/barrel shape, a single digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC), and a sensing distance of 100mm. The sensor utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm and has a quick response time of 3ms / 0.003 s.
