Banner Engineering S18AW3LQ is a photo-electric sensor from the S18 AC series, designed in a retro-reflective mode. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-equipped with a 5-pin 1/2" micro connector for connectivity. It operates on a supply voltage range of 20Vac-250Vac, with nominal voltages at 200Vac, 220Vac, and 240Vac. The S18AW3LQ can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. Its M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape facilitates easy installation. The sensor provides one digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type) and has a sensing distance of up to 2 meters. It operates with infrared light, having a wavelength of 950 nm, and features a response time of 16ms (0.016 s) in a Light-ON operating mode.
