S18AW3REQ1 Description
Banner Engineering S18AW3REQ1 is a photo-electric sensor from the S18 AC series, designed with a through-beam system or opposed mode. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with a polycarbonate lens and is pre-equipped with a 4-pin 1/2" micro connector for connectivity. It operates on a supply voltage ranging from 20Vac to 250Vac, with nominal voltages at 200Vac, 220Vac, and 240Vac. The sensor can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. Its M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape facilitates easy installation. The S18AW3REQ1 provides one digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type) and has a sensing distance of up to 20 meters. It operates with an infrared light color at a wavelength of 950 nm and has a response time of 16ms (0.016 s). The operating mode for this sensor is Light-ON.
