QS18EK6LPQ7 Description

Banner Engineering QS18EK6LPQ7 is a polarized photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of detection applications. It features an M18 threaded mount for easy installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. This sensor is part of the QS18 Expert series and is designed in a retro-reflective mode with TEACH mode functionality. It comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector for straightforward connectivity. The QS18EK6LPQ7 offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and NEMA 6, ensuring durability in harsh environments. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor's rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, capable of sensing distances up to 3.5m. It emits a visible red light with a wavelength of 640 nm and supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. Additionally, it features 2 x digital outputs (PNP/NPN transistor) and boasts a rapid response time of 0.6ms / 0.0006 s.
