QS18APWR W/30 Description
Banner Engineering QS18APWR W/30 is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, functioning as a receiver alone. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +70°C. This sensor is equipped with a pre-wired 30ft / 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, facilitating easy connection. It supports a wide supply voltage range, accepting 20Vac-140Vac (with 120Vac nominal) and 20Vdc-140Vdc (with 24Vdc, 48Vdc, and 120Vdc nominal), making it part of the QS18 universal voltage series. The sensor boasts a rectangular shape with a thermoplastic housing and a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, ensuring durability. It offers a sensing distance of up to 20m and operates in Light-ON mode. For signal output, it provides 1 x digital output through a PNP MOSFET transistor, with a response time of 16.6ms / 0.0166 s. The QS18APWR W/30 is designed to meet IP67 and NEMA 6 degrees of protection, indicating a high level of resistance to dust and water ingress.
