Banner Engineering PIT43TSL5-VL is a fiber optic sensor designed for in-line sensing with a through-beam system or opposed mode pair of individual fibers. It operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +70°C. This sensor is part of the Plastic fiber series and features a cylindrical (threaded) probe tip with a 1mm fiber core diameter. The sensing end is made of stainless steel, while the fiber is plastic, and the fiber sheath is constructed from polyethylene (PE). The total length of the sensor is 3ft or approximately 1m.
