This sensor operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +70°C. It is part of the Plastic fiber series, with a 1mm fiber core diameter and a 30ft (9m) length. The PIT430U has a cylindrical (threaded) probe tip made of nickel-plated brass for the sensing end, while the fiber is encased in a polyethylene (PE) fiber sheath, ensuring compatibility with a variety of industrial environments.
