Banner Engineering PIT23UM4-VL is a fiber optic sensor designed for through-beam system applications, featuring an opposed mode pair of individual fibers for in-line sensing. This sensor operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +70°C. It belongs to the Plastic fiber series and is characterized by a 0.5mm fiber core diameter. The sensor's design includes a cylindrical (threaded) probe tip made of stainless steel, with the sensing end constructed from plastic fiber and encased in a Steelskin fiber sheath for enhanced durability. The total length of the sensor is 6ft / 2m, facilitating versatile installation options.
