About the product
Banner Engineering PIT21TS is a fiber optic sensor designed for in-line sensing with a through-beam system or opposed mode pair of individual fibers. It operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +70°C. This sensor is part of the Plastic fiber series and features a cylindrical (threaded) probe tip with a diameter of 0.5mm for the fiber core. The sensing end is made of stainless steel, while the fiber itself is plastic, and it is protected by a stainless steel monocoil. The total length of the sensor is 3 feet or approximately 1 meter.
