The sensor has a 0.5mm fiber core diameter and belongs to the Plastic fiber series. Its design includes a cylindrical (threaded) probe tip made of stainless steel for the sensing end, with the fiber itself being plastic and the sheath composed of polyethylene (PE). The total length of the sensor is 1ft or approximately 300mm.
