Banner Engineering PIPS66U is a fiber optic sensor designed for through-beam system applications, featuring an opposed mode probe tip pair of individual fibers positioned side by side with right-angled sensing. It operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +70°C. This sensor is part of the Plastic fiber series, characterized by a 1.5mm fiber core diameter and a 3.2x3.2mm rectangular sensing area. The construction includes a brass sensing end and a plastic fiber with a polyethylene (PE) fiber sheath, ensuring durability and compatibility with various applications. The total length of the fiber is 6ft / 2m, facilitating flexible installation options.
