PIPS46U Description

Banner Engineering PIPS46U is a fiber optic sensor designed for through-beam system applications, featuring an opposed mode probe tip pair of individual fibers positioned side by side with right-angled sensing. This sensor falls under the Plastic fiber series and is characterized by a 1mm fiber core diameter. It is built with a cylindrical (smooth) probe tip made from stainless steel for the sensing end, while the fiber itself is constructed from plastic, and the sheath is made of polyethylene (PE). The PIPS46U has a length of 6ft (approximately 2m) and is designed to operate in ambient air temperatures up to +70°C.
