About the product

Banner Engineering PIPS61.5UMSQMAP is a fiber optic sensor designed for precise detection tasks. This sensor is part of the Plastic fiber series and operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +70°C. It features a through-beam system with an opposed mode probe tip pair, consisting of individual fibers positioned side by side and at right angles for enhanced sensing capabilities. The sensor has a diameter of 2.1mm at the end and a 1.5mm fiber core, ensuring accurate alignment and detection. The cylindrical (smooth) probe tips are made from stainless steel for the sensing end, while the fiber is encased in a durable plastic fiber sheath made from Polyethylene (PE), offering robust protection. With a length of 6ft / 2m, this sensor provides flexibility and ease of installation for a variety of applications.
