PIL415U Description
Banner Engineering PIL415U is a fiber optic sensor designed for through-beam system applications, featuring an opposed mode end tip lens pair of individual fibers for in-line sensing. This sensor operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +70°C. It belongs to the Plastic fiber series and is characterized by a 1mm fiber core diameter. The sensor's design includes a cylindrical (threaded) probe tip made of plastic, with both the sensing end and the fiber sheath constructed from Polyethylene (PE). The total length of the fiber is 60ft / 18m, accommodating a range of installation requirements.
