About the product
Banner Engineering PIFM1X46U is a fiber optic sensor designed for through-beam system applications, featuring an opposed mode ferrule end tip pair of individual fibers for in-line sensing. This sensor operates at an ambient air temperature of up to +70°C and is part of the Plastic fiber series. It has a cylindrical (smooth) end tip shape, with a diameter of 4.7mm at the sensing end and a 1.5mm fiber core. The sensing end is made of stainless steel, while the fiber is plastic with a polyethylene (PE) fiber sheath. The total length of the fiber is 6ft / 2m.
