Banner Engineering PIF66UM.75M.19D is a fiber sensor designed for in-line sensing with a through-beam system, also known as an opposed mode ferrule end tip pair of individual fibers. It operates at an ambient air temperature of up to +70°C. This sensor is part of the Plastic fiber series and features a cylindrical (smooth) end tip. The sensing end is made of stainless steel, while the fiber is plastic with a polyethylene (PE) fiber sheath. The diameter of the sensor is 3mm at the end and 1.5mm for the fiber core. It has a length of 6ft or approximately 2 meters.
