It operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +70°C. This sensor is part of the Plastic fiber series and comes with a 1mm fiber core diameter. The PBT46U has a cylindrical (threaded) end tip made of brass for the sensing end, while the fiber is constructed from plastic, and the fiber sheath is made of Polyethylene (PE).
