MAE4216Q Description
Banner Engineering MAE4216Q is a sensor from the MINI-ARRAY 2-piece models series designed for edge detection. This measuring light screen array functions as an emitter alone, with a 1057mm array length housed in aluminum. It features a rectangular shape with a 3/4" / 19mm beam spacing/pitch. The sensor is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm PVC pigtail that terminates with an M12 mini-style connector. It operates on a supply voltage of 16Vdc-30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The MAE4216Q can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65 UL type 1. Its sensing distance ranges from 90cm to 16.5m, with a resolution of 3/4" / 19mm, and it can detect objects sized between 25.4mm and 38.1mm.
