LX6RSR-72706 Description

Banner Engineering LX6RSR-72706 is a sensor array designed for short-range part-sensing with a cross-hatched light screen, functioning as the receiver component. It features a 143mm array length within a rectangular shape, constructed from an aluminium housing with an acrylic lens and die-cast zinc end caps. This unit is pre-wired, including a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads for connectivity. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor's dimensions are specified with a net height of 190mm, width of 26mm, and depth of 32mm. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65. The LX6RSR-72706 supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes, can sense objects within a distance of 100 to 200mm, and is capable of detecting objects as small as 5.6mm. It includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and features a response time of 1.6ms / 0.0016 s.
