LX6R Description
Banner Engineering LX6R is a sensor array designed for standard-range part-sensing with a cross-hatched array, functioning as the receiver alone. It features a 143mm array length within a rectangular shape, constructed from an aluminium housing with an acrylic lens and die-cast zinc end caps. This unit is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for connectivity. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The LX6R has a net height of 190mm, a width of 26mm, and a depth of 32mm. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65. The operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON, with a sensing distance ranging from 30cm to 2m. It features 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and has a response time of 1.6ms or 0.0016 seconds. The detectable object size for this sensor is 9.5mm.
