About the product
Banner Engineering LX24R is a sensor array designed for standard-range part-sensing with a cross-hatched light screen, functioning as the receiver component. This unit features a 599mm array length encased in an aluminium housing with an acrylic lens and die-cast zinc end caps. It is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates in bare end flying leads for connectivity. The LX24R operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It has a net height of 647mm, a width of 26mm, and a depth of 32mm. Designed to operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +70°C, it offers a degree of protection rated at IP65. The operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON, with a sensing distance between 30cm and 2m. It features one digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and has a response time of 6.4ms. The LX24R is capable of detecting objects as small as 9.5mm.
