RI-65S10C-2F3600-H1181 Description

Turck RI-65S10C-2F3600-H1181 is an incremental rotary encoder designed for precise motion control applications. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and features a solid shaft with a clamping flange for optical sensing. This encoder is pre-equipped with a radial 8-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for easy integration. Part of the Type RI-65 series, it has dimensions of H80mm x W60mm x D70mm, with a 2" casing diameter, a 10mm shaft diameter, and a 20mm shaft length. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for harsh environments. The supply voltage ranges from 5Vdc to 30Vdc, supporting 6Vdc, 12Vdc, and 24Vdc systems. With a maximum frequency of 300kHz, it can handle up to 5000rpm, encased in a rugged stainless steel housing with a 303 stainless steel shaft, flange, and connector, complemented by a fluoropolymer elastomer seal. It features one digital output (push-pull with inverting signal) within the 5Vdc-30Vdc range, includes short-circuit and magnetic field proof protection functions, and can achieve a rotational speed of up to 6000rpm. The moment of inertia is 1.8 x 10^-6kg.m^2, with a resolution of 3600ppr (pulses/revolution). Its current consumption is 50mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
