NI3-EH04F-AP6X Description

Turck NI3-EH04F-AP6X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +80°C and is equipped with a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable with bare end flying leads for connection. This sensor is part of the NI...-EH04F series and offers a protection degree of IP67, making it suitable for use in environments where dust and water resistance is required. It requires a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values, and features a 4mm diameter smooth cylindrical/barrel shape (Picoprox). The sensor operates at a frequency of up to 1.2kHz / 1200Hz maximum switching frequency and has a sensing distance of 3mm. Its housing and sensing face are made from 1.4305 (303) stainless steel, and it includes a PUR cable jacket. The operating mode is normally open (NO), and it has one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.). Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity protection, with a current consumption of 10mA (no-load current).
